During a 6 monthly check of their fire system this church found that a number of their emergency lights needed replacing as the backup battery couldn't power the lights for the minimum time period.

Rather than replacing the lead acid the old tube/bulb units were removed (and responsibly recycled) and new, brighter, LED versions installed in their place. The advantage of LED replacement units is that in the event of a power cut the given light is greater than that of Halogen or a filament bulb as well as the units often being smaller and lighter.
